It is "Blue insulation foam,"

I prefer the ticker stuff (2" iirc). A long sheet of this stuff will run $15 on average, but you can make dozens of hills from one sheet in an afternoon.

Note when painting it. Don't use spray paint dirently on it. First apply a watered down wood glue (or white glue) to protect the foam first

dukeDukehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08975831209122743251noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3196653280947071510.post-27510187838181450652011-10-01T04:03:14.529-07:002011-10-01T04:03:14.529-07:00what is the name of the foam used, I think having ...what is the name of the foam used, I think having a table filled with this type of terrain would be quite fun/fairAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3196653280947071510.post-21655285569006551822011-09-30T12:01:16.486-07:002011-09-30T12:01:16.486-07:00I think flat top is the way to go because of the m...I think flat top is the way to go because of the models themselves regardless of the edition. No matter what 6th ed brings I still think that these hills will still be viable, simply because of the benefits it adds of unit coherency and what not.

They are also really easy to build. I built 20 hills in one afternoon (Not including sanding and painting.

DukeDukehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08975831209122743251noreply@blogger.com
