Skyrim 40k FTW!!! discussion
Earlier today BoLS released this news article LINK. Long story short, THQ (makers of the "Dark Millennium," MMO) announced that they will not be making the game into an MMO, but instead will be making it a "...Premium single player experience..." I got thinking to myself about what does an MMO look like that isn't an MMO but is a "premium single player experience." Then it hit me... 40K SKYRIM!

Will 6th ed bring back the lost sheep?
Over the last little while I have seen guys getting burnt out on the state of 40k. It might be for a myriad of reasons. Well this morning I was thinking about the 6th edition rumors and thought to myself "Will it make a difference?" Lets see.

6 Stages of Grief: The Losing Streak
A Veteran's guide to getting your arse handed to you.
By Immortal
"It was the dice, I swear." Yes, failing five of your eight 2+ saves against grots is mildly disconcerting, but hang in there, it can only get worse. Having this kind of luck every game has seemed to by my norm as of late, and many of my dice have been severely punished as a result. Draigo Paladin-Stars, rampaging Wolf-Stars, and being melta’d to death by Vulkan, these have also become the norm… sounds fun ‘eh.
So how do I survive in the meta game? Clearly I don’t, not right now anyways, but I manage to cope with it. Here are my thoughts and ramblings on how to get through that inevitable losing streak.

HOBBY: Painting Power Weapons by Immortal
Hello again, Immortal here with a "how to" article on painting power weapons as part of our "power weapon week" series.
Now, there are dozens of styles and ways to paint your weapons, and each have there merits. I chose to go with a style very similar to those shown in Codex: Grey Knights; a mirrored blue color. The majority of my Blood Angel army is (you guessed it) Red, but a few of my units such as my Sanguinary Guard are not (see my "Death-(From-Above)-Star" article further down LINK. The blue accents the fact that the weapon is powered just by contrasting the red (or bone/white) armor.

Its power weapon week!
Not long ago Immortal did a post on his Death (Star) From Above. In the comments there was a clamoring for a tutorial on how to do power weapons the way he did it. Well, I thought it would be a good idea to do a whole week of power weapon posts (we will still do other posts too). As such, this week each of the writers has written a tutorial on how they do power weapons in their own style. This articles will be:
Immortal: Power weapons with glow effects
Swags: Hellblades
Duke: Power weapons with lightning effects.
I hope you like themed weeks...If so we will do more every so often. Keep an eye out later today for the first 'power weapon week,' posts.

The Casual-Competitive player
Hey everyone... I wanted to talk about an idea that I have been having for a while. I know it isn't entirely original, but Id like to go over it anyhow. Lately I have been referring to some gamers as a "Casual-Competitive," gamer, today I wanted to talk about what that is.

Tournament Endurance... How much do you have?
The other day I was talking to another Tournament Organizer friend of mine. I won't go into which tourney he hosts cause I don't want to change any peoples excitement or change their thoughts (positive or negative) on the event as a whole (He runs a great event). But what I did want to talk about was 'how much is too much,' at a tournament?
