Today I wanted to do another quick post on what I have been up to lately with my painting. Maybe we will even get into a little bit of an artsy-fartsy-discussion...
For a while now I have been working on my Custodes army. The tanks have by far taken the longest to do (one because they are big and two, because I need inspiration to do them)
I know that this month is Wolves month, but today I wanted to get a post out that I have been sitting on for a while, and then we can move on to some good-ol wolves. Anyhow, If you have been reading for a while, you will know that I am working on my Custodes army (counts as GK) for the upcoming tournament season. Lets jump on down and see how the main unit of paladins and my small interceptor unit is coming together as of now.
As many of you know I am building a Custodes themed army for my latest project. This is something that I have wanted to do for years and years. One of the main things that had to be included in this army was Grav-Razorbacks. Well, I have made my first few (with some small additions still to come) let's stroll on over and check it out, shall we?
Hey everyone, Today I am bringing something to you that I haven't done in a while... wait for it... a painting log! I know, I know, I gave you the best christmas/Kwanzaa present ever but don't tell your wife "Awww, this watch is nice honey but Duke wrote a painting log article and this Rolex just doesn't stack up." Trust me your groin won't feel pretty for about 4-170 days. Anyhow, enough with the delusions of grandeur (and groin kicking). Lets get on with the show.
Gold done:
Here is a picture or two to get your palette wet. My Custodes army is going slowly, but I want to to go like that. I want to take my time and paint each guy as I would a single character model... Plus I only have four models at the moment, so if I paint fast not only will they look bad, but I will run out of models to paint quickly because ordering new ones means getting shipping from Poland. Anyhow, open the rest to see.
