Traitor IG (Infardi) update #2

Hey everyone, today Cruor Vault is back to give us an update on his Traitor Guard, they are coming along nicely.  I personally can't wait to see them on the table top.  Take it away Cruor

Well I got bored of building infantry and filing down all those ‘roid rage Catachan arms to fit on Flagellant torsos, so I decided to do some painting this week instead.  Despite it being brutally cold I was able to spray a squad out of my infantry platoon with black primer.

I  used my airbrush to spray a coat of Tallarn flesh over the fleshy bits.  I then washed that with a heavy wash of Ogryn Flesh.

I then washed that with a heavy wash of Ogryn Flesh. After the wash I painted over the raised portions again with Tallarn Flesh.  The I did a 50/50 Tallarn flesh/Rotting flesh stage, a straight Rotting flesh stage, a 50/50 Rotting flesh/Skull white stage, and a final highlight of Skull white

When the flesh was done I painted the robes with Knarloc green.  I then painted over everything but the recesses with Snot green, I then highlighted the edges with Scorpion green and then washed the whole robe with a heavy wash of Thraka green.  I then filled in the details for the most part.

The squad is mostly finished at this stage.  I still need to paint a few feet here and there and I want to do tattoos on them, but besides some final highlights for the most part this is a finished product.  Only 81 more to do!
