A couple posts ago I (and swags) showed you the latest and greatest awards for Feast of Blades (LINK).
Well, Today I am asking for the internets somewhat-wise-ness to help me decide which Feats of Strength we will actually use at the tournament. First let me describe what feast of strength are.
For those of you who have been following this blog for a while you will remember that I have been planning a Custodes army for quite some time (Who hasn't!). Lately though Feast of Blades has been taking up almost all of my hobby time and I haven't gotten to start any progress towards the Custodes army. Well, today I think I have a list that could be worthy of my Custodes army.
We basically have a year of playing 8th Edition under our belts and I think it's time to take a look at some things and how they are working out. Having spent most of the past year playing my WoC in friendly and tournament games, I want to take a look at the Marks and how they stack up in 8th.
Hey everyone, as I have covered before the Tournament I am running FEAST OF BLADES is running at full steam to get ready for November. One of the main events on Friday night is the 'Charity team tournament.' read on to hear about the event and the awards that go with it.
Right now planning for Feast of Blades (FoB) is in full "captain planet mode." This means that I have nothing but tournaments on the brain right now. As suchI wanted to talk today about something I heard one of my press-ganger buddies talk about, the random add-on time limit.
Duke here and before Swags goes into his post let me give you a little intro. For those of you who aren't in "the know," I am organizing a mega-super-awesome event known as "Feast of Blades," this event is an annual convention held in Denver with all the bells and whistles of any other convention (Weekend long gaming, multiple tournaments, demo games, vendors, etc.) However our main-line tournament is the Invitational. To qualify for the invitational you had to place 1st or 2nd in a RTT held at one of our 32 qualifier locations in 7 states. Those 64 people are then pitched against each-other in a very competitive setting. The big question I was having was, "How do we show the elite nature of the people who have qualified, and how do we let them show that to others?" Well, folks we have solved the problem...
I just heard yesterday that a local store is going out of Business. It isn't my FLGS, but the community feels the pain none-the-less. Today I wanted to talk about "How should a store be run." And like the GW discussion, I don't want it to be a bunch of gamers with an axe to grind, I want to hear business ideas.
Hello all, you know I love to give love to the under dogs and who better to love right now than some Daemons! Thanks Grey Knights...No really thanks, because if my Daemons are ever gonna have a chance against you their next codex will be so broken it wont be funny. Its OK, I can wait.
On the conversion block today, The Flamers of Khorne!!!
Welcome to another stop on the long road I like to call the 40K Change Up!
Today I am going to pitch another radical idea that is intended to separate the fluffies from
the "Wack Masters" And perhaps bring some fun into your regular end of the month game.
